
Migration Series
Chinwe is currently working on a new body of work that is a series of pictures that express the issues around migration, their genesis, denigration in host communities and the masks and lies for holding onto power.

CHINWE ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE AT SAINSBURY CENTRE
Chinwe recently had a residency at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts at The University of East Anglia where she created a number of new works inspired by African masks in the Robert and Lisa Sainsbury Collection. These will be on display at the Sainsbury Centre until the end of January. Do drop in to see them.
Chinwe also ran workshops at the Centre as part of Black History Month where she encouraged students to experiment with some of the various printing techniques that she employs to creat her work.
